Dr Dilum Rangama is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner with extensive experience across diverse areas of medicine. She began practising in Australia in 2019 after a long and successful medical career in Sri Lanka, which began in 2001. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2022, reflecting her commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya (Sri Lanka, 2001), Dr Rangama has worked in a wide range of healthcare settings, developing broad expertise in Surgery, Community Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Child Health, Travel Medicine, Preventive Health, Mental Health, and Neonatology. This rich clinical background underpins her holistic approach to general practice, ensuring that every patient receives comprehensive and personalised care.

Dr Rangama is passionate about continuous professional development. She has advanced training in IUD insertion and removal, as well as a Certificate in Primary Care Dermatology, enabling her to assess and manage skin cancer and common dermatological conditions encountered in general practice. In addition, she is a certified mental-health provider through the RACGP’s Focused Psychological Strategies program.

Committed to accessible healthcare, Dr Rangama provides fully bulk-billed consultations for Medicare-eligible patients, with private options available where appropriate.
